French catering and voucher group Sodexo has announced the acquisition of maintenance and facility management firm, MacLellan Integrated Services India Pvt Ltd. The acquisition will support Sodexo’s international leadership and strengthen the Group’s technical expertise, besides providing MacLellan India’s customers access to a wider range of services and the international resources of the Sodexo Group.
Speaking at a press conference in Mumbai, Sunil Nayak, CEO, Sodexo India said, “Sodexo’s vision in India is to be the outsourcing expert of choice, providing Quality of Life Services that measurably improves our clients’ performance and development.”
Sodexo Group is targeting to double its revenue by 2015 and this collaboration will help it further in accomplishing the target, Nayak said. Last year (August-September fiscal year) Sodexo earned र1,000 crore revenue from the quality of lifespace.
MacLellan India provides maintenance and facility management services to industries in sectors such as automotive, IT and pharmaceutical as well as industrial parks and office spaces. The company has made र130 crore, apart from that there is 20% year-on-year growth in its business last fiscal.
